Pearl and the Beard are Brooklyn trio Jocelyn Mackenzie (vocals / percussion), Emily Hope Price (vocals / cello / keys) and Jeremy Lloyd-Styles (vocals / guitars). Formed in 2007, the three passionately intertwine three distinct voices amidst a powerfully delicate orchestra of cello, guitars, keyboard, bells, and percussion, offering songs that speak to joy and sorrow, love and loss.

The breadth of their songwriting and genre-defying sound is reflected in the vast variety of other artists with whom they've shared the stage, most notably  Ani DiFrancoNeko CaseIron & WineIngrid MichaelsonBastilleDar WilliamsLuciusYou Won'tDavid Wax MuseumLady Lamb, The Drums, Matt + Kim, Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling and more.

The trio released their third full-length studio album Beast in the fall of 2015 and were proud to have performed their album release show at New York's Bowery Ballroom to a sold-out crowd. Three of their songs are featured prominently in the new movie "Hello, My Name is Doris," starring Sally Field and Max Greenfield and directed by Michael Showalter. Though they have since disbanded, each band member looks forward to progress as they carry on their solo careers:
